On drawing..
I have been fond of drawing eversince I was a kid. I had this *talent * of copying cartoon characters from coloring books ang magazines- and I was very much satisfied with it. Though I have not been drawing anything since college cause I've been very busy with school work, and I can't help thinking that I forgot how to draw.
And so, I decided to practice it while I'm on vacation! I've been studying angles and perspective, proportions of the human body, and different facial expressions. I've been working on mannequins, drawing every position imaginable! I never thought drawing could be such a hard work. So far, I have been *quite* satisfied with the results. Of course I've been using a guide; "How To Draw MANGA" to be exact. I admit their drawing styles had been really helpful and I am using it while I'm in the process of learning and discovering my own drawing style. I am still not very good at it, but I am aware that this one needs a lot of practice. And I mean a whole lot of practice! Well, it can be frustrating when you can't draw exactly the way you want it to turn out. But hey, one's got to have patience. I've got my baby to encourage me, and it makes drawing a lot more fun!
